On August 24, 2017, Thomas Kennedy received the Melton M. Lewis Equal Justice Award from Legal Services of Eastern Missouri at its annual For The Common Good award ceremony.  This award reflects the years of collaboration between Kennedy Hunt, P.C., III and Legal Services of Eastern Missouri. The Melton M. Lewis Equal Justice Award is given in recognition of outstanding commitment to providing equal access to justice for all.

Mr. Kennedy continues to work with Legal Services on cases involving special education, civil rights and Medicaid Access law.

The award ceremony was held at the Moto Museum in Midtown St. Louis.
