SUSIE LAKE

ATTORNEY

Susie Lake is a dedicated civil rights attorney driven by a commitment to dismantling racism and bias by challenging inequitable systems. Prior to joining Kennedy Hunt, Susie practiced almost exclusively in the nonprofit sector in St. Louis and beyond, including roles with the ACLU of Washington and Legal Services of Eastern Missouri. Her background also includes a federal judicial clerkship and service as an Adjunct Professor at Washington University School of Law. A graduate of Washington University School of Law, where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Global Studies Law Review, and a former high school educator in her hometown of Atlanta, Georgia,

Susie strives to be a supportive colleague, friend, and community member who values learning from and working alongside others. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her spouse and their dogs, and is an avid gardener dedicated to cultivating Missouri’s native plants.
