On January 16, 2026, Kennedy Hunt P.C. filed a sex discrimination and retaliation complaint against 770 Management, LLC, alleging the company discriminated against our client in violation of the Missouri Human Rights Act.

According to the lawsuit, our client worked for 770 Management, LLC at various property sites the company owned. The lawsuit claims that in October 2023, our client entered into a contract for her to perform work for 770 Management. The lawsuit alleges that after the contract was signed, the company began assigning our client work outside the terms of the agreement.

The lawsuit states that while our client worked for 770 Management, the owner of the company yelled at and intimidated our client on multiple occasions. The lawsuit alleges that the owner of 770 Management yelled at other female employees as well. According to the lawsuit, the owner of 770 Management held female employees to unfair work standards compared to the male employees.

According to the lawsuit, in April 2024, our client told the owner of 770 Management that a female job applicant made a complaint that a male manager for 770 Management sexually harassed her. During that conversation, the lawsuit alleges that our client told the owner of 770 Management that other women had reported similar behavior by the manager.

The lawsuit alleges that our client told the owner of 770 Management that the male manager’s behavior was inappropriate and that something had to be done about the sexual harassment

The lawsuit states that shortly thereafter, on or about May 2, 2024, 770 Management terminated our client’s employment. According to the lawsuit, 770 Management then hired a less qualified male who had not opposed sexual harassment to replace our client. The lawsuit claims that 770 Management paid our client’s male predecessor more than they paid our client for similar work.

The lawsuit continues:

[770 Management] has a practice of paying men more than women, regardless of their qualifications. On at least one occasion, [the owner of 770 Management] stated that women cannot make more money than men.

According to the lawsuit, 770 Management has not paid our client for a majority of the payments due under the agreements they reached. The lawsuit also alleges the owner of 770 Management failed to pay our client for the additional duties he assigned to her outside of the agreement.

The lawsuit alleges that as a result of 770 Management’s actions, our client has suffered lost compensation and benefits of employment, and emotional distress.

This case is ongoing.
