On December 17, 2025, Kennedy Hunt P.C. filed a complaint against Crescent Mobile Power Wash, Inc. in the Circuit Court of St. Charles County, Missouri, alleging the company violated the Missouri Minimum Wage Law and Missouri common law.

According to the lawsuit, from January to December 2024, our client was employed by Crescent Mobile Power Wash, Inc. The lawsuit alleges that our client was only paid for 40 hours per week, despite actually working more hours per week.

The lawsuit continues:

Plaintiff worked well over 40 hours a week every week during his employment. Defendants were aware of the hours Plaintiff worked, as Frawley assigned Plaintiff these hours and workloads. Yet, Defendants never paid Plaintiff overtime compensation at a rate of one and one-half times his hourly rate for any hours he worked over 40 in a workweek.

Missouri Minimum Wage Law requires employees to be paid at least minimum wage for all hours worked in each workweek and also to be compensated at a rate of not less than one and one-half times the regular rate at which such employees are employed for all work performed in excess of 40 hours in a workweek.

According to the lawsuit, Crescent Mobile Power Wash, Inc. did not maintain a method of tracking its employees’ work hours, and also failed to issue pay stubs to our client. The lawsuit alleges that our client repeatedly asked about overtime pay, but Crescent Mobile Power Wash, Inc. refused to compensate him for his overtime hours. According to the lawsuit, our client’s position was terminated on December 31, 2024, and his vehicle was then repossessed.

The lawsuit also states that in the following days, our client made a written demand to Crescent Mobile Power Wash, Inc. for payment of his last paycheck. According to the lawsuit, on February 7, 2025, Crescent Mobile Power Wash, Inc. sent a check made out to the wrong name and containing many unlawful deductions.

Our client is seeking compensatory damages, back pay, unpaid wages, liquidated damages, costs, and attorneys’ fees. Our client also seeks pre- and post-judgment interest awards at the applicable legal rate.

This case is ongoing.
